Painter in Lyon , I have always painted and I have had around fifteen exhibitions in recent years, some of which are individual and others international. As a semi-abstract painter, I invite you on a journey, to discover figurative, semi-abstract to futuristic landscapes in my decorative canvases. I am officially listed.

I am trained in different media, I like to experiment while remaining attached to traditional painting. I offer you a reinterpretation of the figurative , in an invitation to perceive the reflection of listening to nature, to be moved by the variations of light, to feel the fragility of existence.

“The petals fly away in a rustle of silk , the sparkling water lilies warm the collars in the freshness of spring, the sparkling tones sublimate the precious cottons. The blurred contours of the petals evoke a soft spring mist, a cotton veil, creating a painting imbued with poetry and emotion. In a breath of fresh air, the rustle of a silky fabric brightens up winter-pale faces with its bright colors. The Ames Sœurs gallery has enhanced my wonder at the return of spring with elegant and natural fabrics that reflect my quest as an artist.”

Charlotte Pivard is a painter recognized for her semi-abstract works. An artist by vocation , she began oil painting at the age of 5 and her destiny always brought her back to painting.

Over the years, she has spontaneously developed an innovative style that mixes abstraction and figuration. His luminous works capture the very essence of nature with original angles of view, a unique style and an innate sense of composition. She chooses a poetic perspective on the beauty of nature, to advocate her artistic vision of contemplation and safeguarding of natural beauties. Charlotte Pivard's paintings are characterized by their use of bright, vibrant colors, as well as their semi-abstract texture and fluid, balanced composition. She often uses a bold, contrasting color palette to create lighting effects.

She was appointed president of the Lyon Academy of Painting in 2022, her paintings are present in private international collections, she participates in numerous exhibitions and benefits from an official listing.

A WHISPER IN THE TREES

An abstract painting representing the Balata garden in Martinique

FUTURISTIC PAINTINGS

At a crucial period when we ask ourselves many questions about ecology and the future of our planet, my creative process resonates with the environment . Listening to predictions that imagine Lyon with the climate of Marrakech, Lyon is transformed into a jungle then a desert. At the heart of the illustration of this poetic dystopian future, I depict a sort of rediscovered Garden of Eden, full of colors and exotic animals. I set about representing Lyon and Fourvière by playing on the colors, shadows, textures and perspective of the added elements.

Thanks to an abstract artistic approach, I transcend the realistic representation of plants. The trees blend into each other, forming an organic dance where the boundaries between trunks and branches become blurred. The flowing lines and delicate textures evoke the incessant movement of leaves, inviting meditative contemplation.

By observing the paintings, we feel a deep connection with nature. The “Whisper in the Trees” series offers an immersive experience , allowing viewers to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in a haven of peace. Balanced compositions and repeating patterns evoke a feeling of inner calm and harmony.
